Fred Guster is the Head of Strategy and a GP Development Partner for Bisonti Partners in New York and a member of the investment committee. Prior to Bisonti’s establishment, he seeded and advised new alternative asset managers, and assessed strategic investment and growth opportunities for Investcorp.
Before joining Investcorp, Fred was Head of Strategy & Business Development at Sarissa Capital Management, then a newly formed healthcare-focused activist investment firm. He also served as Director in Barclays’ Capital Solutions group, focusing on strategic capital formation for emerging managers, and as Managing Director at Rock Maple Funds. Fred began his career at Goldman Sachs in London in the Financial Institutions Group, working on M&A and corporate finance transactions, before joining Goldman Sachs Asset Management in New York as part of the AIMS investment team.
Fred holds a BS in Finance from Penn State University and an MS in Financial Economics from the Norwegian School of Management.
